It’s Been Difficult Working With Serevi
Following the revelation by Serevi that he is finding great difficulty in working with FRU officials since he took over the post, Dakuidreketi said he is concerned that a lot of stories are being twisted by the coach.
The FRU chairman had even said that anyone who does not want to adhere to the rules set by the FRU then the door is open for the person to leave.
With the Wellington 7s kicking off next Friday and the World Cup 7s in Dubai just a month away, Serevi had come out and said that he did not have much say in the selection of the Fiji team to the Wellington and San Diego 7s.
Now the FRU chairman Keni Dakuidreketi who announced the team with one of the selectors, Mosese Taga said, Serevi was part of the group that selected the Fiji team.
Dakuidreketi said Serevi is now twisting the story.
He stressed that Serevi is part of the selection team and people should not get emotional and make personal attacks.
Waisale Serevi will speak to us this afternoon.
Meanwhile, FRU called a press conference at 3:30 this afternoon but cancelled the conference just a few minutes ago.
