FRU Board Chairman, Bill Gavoka has admitted that one of the reasons why they have decided to keep Keni Dakuidreketi is because it will take months for his predecessor to settle into the job as Acting CEO.
Gavoka said if a new person was to come in than it will take him six months to settle into the new job.
Gavoka adds Dakuidreketi has being helping prepare the Flying Fijians for the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand and he should be kept in the job.
FRU President Ro Filipe Tuisawau has called for Dakudreketi to do the honorable thing and step down after being charged on allegations of fraud.
