Vodafone Fiji 7s coach, Ben Ryan says it was always his plan to leave his Fiji coaching job after the Rio Olympics.
While speaking to Sky Sports in Rio, Ryan said that he is leaving when his contract finishes in September after delivering the Olympic gold medal win in Rio.
He says he will have many great memories of Fiji but he will move on.
Ryan says he still has not made up his mind but he wants to be a head coach.
The 7s Olympic Gold Medal win celebrations on the special public holiday on Monday 22nd August is expected to be the perfect send-off for Ben Ryan.
He knows that the celebrations will be bigger than any other celebration held in Fiji in the past.
