A resident of Nadi town Dinesh Pillay said it will take the Jetset town months to return to its normal look.
Pillay who operates his business near the Nadi Temple and is currently at Nadi Back Road Mobil Service Station said it was something unexpected.
Pillay said the flooding has caused extensive damages to Nadi town.

He also said that the Nadi town council has a huge task ahead of them.

Nadi Mayor, Timoci Koriqica said the town council officials are on the ground to assess damages and find out which areas are still affected by flood waters.
