The outvoted chairman of the Bua Provincial Council Ratu Filimoni Ralogaivau has revealed that on the morning of the election for the council chairman in Nabouwalu last week, it was evident that a political party and a religious organization were campaigning against him.
Ralogaivau said although it was a close margin between the new chairman Alipate Radrodro and him, he wishes his successor well and he will continue to assist the “vanua” and the people of Bua.
Meanwhile, Ralogaivau is a member of the GCC taskforce and will be visiting Rotuma next week to make presentations on the new changes to the GCC promulgation 2008.
