Issues to be Discussed Further
This is after the three High Court Judges Justice Davendra Pathik, Justice Anthony Gates and Justice John Byrne expressed disappointment this morning that Court orders were not followed as a pre-trial conference was not held.
Queens Counsel for the SDL Nye Perram said a discussion was held between the relevant parties at the Holiday Inn. Solicitor General Christopher Pryde added there was progress made and confirmed a meeting did take place however he stated there would be one or two issues that would need to be included but these would have to be discussed with lead counsel Gerrard McCoy first, who would be arriving into the country sometime this afternoon.
Justice Gates said it was very important the court reach conclusions as to which issues need to be addressed in what order.
At present it is yet to be decided whether or not Justifiability will be the first issue on the list that needs to be discussed in Court.
Judge Gates said it is necessary to first know which issues need to be discussed and it what order before continuing with the case. The case is adjourned to 9.30 tomorrow morning.
