Hopes are high that the Digicel Fiji Sevens team will turn things around this weekend in the USA Sevens but a lot depends on certain issues that are beyond our control.
Fijivillage has done an exclusive interview with Fiji rugby’s National Coaching Director Frank Boivert today.
He said the plan for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in June in Moscow and the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 is set out and he hopes that this is followed through for a positive outcome.
We asked Boivert what was the specific issue that was beyond their control that may have resulted in our disastrous performance in the NZ Sevens last week where our players performed way below expectation.
Fijivillage asked Boivert again whether he will bring the issue within his control as the National Coaching Director.
We also asked him to explain to the fans if this issue is on or off the field.
