Natabua High School sprinter Isoa Me will be the only athlete from Fiji to compete in the 12th IAAF World Junior Championships in Poland.
Me's top class performance in the Oceania Athletics Championship earned him a place in the 14 member Pacific Islands team.
He moved to a new level with very good improvements on his personal bests in the 200m and 400m, where he won gold in the 200m and was also a member of Fiji's 4x100m relay team that won gold and broke the Games record in the heats.
Meanwhile former Fiji sprinter Jone Delai will accompany Me, as his coach and he will also assist other athletes.
The 12th IAAF World Junior Championships will start on Wednesday.
