Will the length of time spent in camp work wonders for either the Flying Fijians or Japan in their Pacific Nations Cup this afternoon?

This is the view of Flying Fijians coach Samu Domoni Junior, after key players, Sireli Naqelevuki and Clermont based wing, Napolioni Nalaga failed to attend camp yesterday.

Domoni said they have excused Naqelevuki as he will be arriving tomorrow, however Nalaga made no contact at all to the team management on when he was going to come to camp.

Domoni added that Japan has been camping and playing together as a unit for the past three months, compared to the Flying Fijians who have just been together in the last fortnight.

However, the soft spoken Rewa native said that he believes that the team that has the urge will win at the end of the day.

The Flying Fijians/Japan match kicks off at 3pm today and a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station Viti FM.
