Irregular shipping services are a national problem, and people must be more understanding.
These are the words of the Chairman of the Fiji Shipping Corporation Captain Victor Fatiaki who said those living in outer islands will have to be patient with them as there are no available vessels at this stage to service these islands, and they are doing their best to address the problem.
Fatiaki said the people of Rotuma have often raised concerns on the irregular service, but he adds that there are a number of other islands that also suffer from similar problems.
