Rochdale town in Ireland is looking forward to hosting the Vodafone Fiji Bati in the Rugby League World Cup at the end of this month.

Town Mayor Councillor Peter Rush said they will host a civic ceremony and the raising of the Fijian flag to officially welcome the Fiji Bati.
 
Rush added that every hotel room in the town has been sold out mostly to Fijian supporters who will be watching the Fiji Bati and Ireland match on the 29th of this month.

The UK Fijian community outside London is looking forward to the Group A clash in the Rugby League World Cup 2013 which is to be one of the most eagerly awaited games in the group stages.

The match between Fiji and Ireland will be played at Spotland Stadium on Tuesday 29 of this month.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Bati will play the Fiji Residents 13 side at 7pm this Friday at Prince Charles Park before leaving our shores next Monday.
