Heavy rain in Ba yesterday damaged the work done by Public Works Department on the Balevuto Irish Crossing.
More than 300 people are now stranded in Balevuto after the Irish crossing was washed away by the strong currents.
A resident, Anil Kumar Sharma said they need urgent help from government.
