Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian are now confirmed dead following a helicopter crash that occurred yesterday.
According to the state media the helicopter that was carrying the President and the Foreign Minister made a "hard landing" after it got into difficulties in heavy fog in the north of the country.
The funeral rites for President Raisi and his entourage will begin today.
