Several investors in Seoul are interested in Fiji.

In a statement released, the Interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama said he met alot of people in Korea who are eyeing to explore Fiji as an investment destination, in particular to set up branch operations in sectors ranging from manufacturing to financial services.

Bainimarama adds one of Korea's largest corporations, which they met in Seoul, will have their senior representatives visiting Suva as early as next Wednesday to follow up on discussions that was held with them.

The Interim Prime Minister also said in Sigapore, they were able to have an insight on the reforms Singapore has implemented in the public service to bring about improvements and efficiency in service delivery and the maintenance of industrial harmony.

Bainimarama adds this was a good experience as the Interim Government is currently undertaking reforms in the Fiji Civil Service.
