Police officers and investigators who are currently under the employment of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption will now come under the pay roll of the Commission.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Kahiyum in an exclusive interview with Village News revealed that with the $3M allocated to the Commission by the interim administration, the Commission will now be able to cater for the salaries of these officers.
Khaiyum also reveals that with the allocation they will now be able to carry out their jobs as they have been receiving a lot of cases and provide solutions to the public.
However, Khaiyum also revealed that despite hoping to receive a higher budget, overseas funding will assist them in their duties.
