Police have today confirmed that investigations against the 17 activists who were protesting outside the Chinese Embassy yesterday afternoon are continuing.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, SSP Kuata Siqila confirmed that the 17 may be interviewed again as police were going through the statements that were recorded yesterday.
On claims by one of the activists, Shamima Ali, that the order to arrest and questioning came from someone else, ACP Siqila denied revealing anything. He only said that investigations are continuing.
Police are expected to release full details on the investigations once it’s completed.
