The Major Fraud Unit based in the CID Headquarters is still collecting documents in relation to the alleged abuse of office and misuse of funds at the Public Employees Union.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said thousands of dollars were allegedly misused by a group of former employees.
Public Employees Union Secretary Villiame Kautia had confirmed that contracts of more than seven employees have been terminated after it was discovered that they were allegedly involved in the misuse of funds.
It is alleged that some employees were paid hefty overtime salaries even though they were not on duty.
Police said arrests will be made soon.
