Police are still investigating the case where two media outlets were yesterday issued search warrants.

Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said this action was taken against Fiji One and Fiji Times after a letter was aired on Fiji One News on Monday.

The letter was from the two interlocutors Sitiveni Halapua and Robin Nair asking the Interim Prime Minister for a meeting.

Another search warrant was served to the Fiji Times for a copy of the letter which was written by the United Nations and the Commonwealth.

The letter was a joint statement from the UN and Commonwealth on their agreement to support the Presidential Political Dialogue Forum.

Fiji Times Editor in Chief Netani Rika was also taken to the Central Police Station and questioned about the issue yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, police are still hunting for those people who damaged Netani Rika's vehicle early yesterday morning.
