Nausori Police are questioning a man in relation to the death of another man whose body was found in Nausori Town yesterday morning.

Assistant Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita had confirmed the man was taken into custody after an extensive police investigation.

The deceased was found with body and facial injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Nausori hospital.

Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in relation to the brutal murder of a taxi driver Mohammad Nasir of Cuvu, Sigatoka whose body was found yesterday.

Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh has confirmed a post mortem was conducted this morning and said that they are treating the case as murder.

Nasir's taxi was found about 5 kilometers from where his body was discovered and police believe, robbery was the motive behind the killing. Cash and other items from the taxi have been stolen.
