The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is expected to conclude investigations against the Commissioner Central/Eastern Inoke Devo later this week.
FICAC spokesperson Inspector Loraini Seru confirms that a team of officers were based at Devo's office for the past two weeks conduction investigations into certain complaints received against him.
Devo remains on leave pending the outcome of the investigations.
When contacted by Village News earlier, Devo said that he was on a long leave owed to him and he was not aware of any investigations against him.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Northern Misaeli Naivalu also remains on leave as FICAC continue investigations against him and some employee's regarding the alleged abuse of flood rehabilitation funds.
Naivalu could not be reached for a comment.
