An investigation is underway to determine the allegations of vote rigging during the 2006 General elections.
This is after the Finance Ministry's audit team completed the election audit and forwarded their report to the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption for assessment and investigations.
Deputy FICAC Commissioner, LT Colonel Wesley Langman said investigations have just started and he has directed his detectives to complete investigations within the set timeframe.
Colonel Langman said they will also approach the interim government to provide them with additional funding to help them carry out their investigations.
