The investigation into the alleged murder of a 42 year old salesman on Friday afternoon is continuing.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the post mortem was conducted yesterday however they will not be commenting on the results at this stage.
She added that the psychiatric evaluation report of the 27 year old suspect is being compiled as he remains in custody.
The alleged incident occurred at a shopping complex in Nadi where the suspect who is believed to be of unsound mind stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife.
The victim was conveyed to the Nadi Hospital where he later died.
