A former journalist and a candidate for the general elections in 2006 and his father, a businessman and a prominent person are currently being interrogated by Police at the CID headquarters.

They are being questioned in relations to the alleged missing firearms since 2000.

Police have also indicated that some more people may be taken in for questioning.

Earlier today the Director Operations, SSP Waisea Tabakau told Fijivillage it is premature for him to comment.

They were taken in for questioning on Wednesday night.

A total of 13 firearms are still missing since the 2000 coup.
