International Women’s Day today
Those are the words of Fiji Women's Crisis Centre (FWCC) Coordinator Shameema Ali as today is International Women's Day celebrated worldwide.
With a number of activities organized to mark today, Ali's main message to women is to always have dignity and not let anyone degrade them.
To mark International Women's Day, the FWCC has organized workshops, marches, meetings and discussions.
Their annual Reclaim the March will be from 7 tonight from the flea market.

Meanwhile, the Ministry for women's national program will be held at the Civic Centre in Suva and this will also include workshops and panel discussions mainly on the implementation of the Domestic Violence Decree and the new Crimes Decree.
Also, the Fiji Human Rights Commission will be launching brochures in relation to the International Women's Day celebrations.
The Chief Guest for the celebrations at the Commission will be the Chief Registrar Ms Ana Rokomokoti.
