One of the architects of the 1997 constitution, Professor Brij Lal told the ABC that he does not think the international community can be persuaded by interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama’s address on his version on why he overthrew the democratically elected government.
Speaking at the ABC Professor Lal said that Commodore Bainimarama want to tell the world that his action to overthrow the democratically elected government should be justified
He believes that Commodore Bainimarama will want to impress countries like the US, EU states and the Commonwealth after continuous international pressure on the interim government.
