An internal investigation for police is still underway to determine how Josua Naivalu escaped Police custody from the Suva court house yesterday.
Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the 34 year old man who was sentenced yesterday to ten months imprisonment for burglary and theft escaped from the Suva Magistrates court and is still on the run.

He said anyone with information is requested to contact 917 or your nearest community post or station.
Naivalu on the 18th of April this year broke into Fong Lee Seafood restaurant in Suva and stole items valued at $850.
