The Interim Cabinet is expected to make the final decision on the Vatukoula Gold Mine and the proposed deal with the new mining company Westech.
Sources have confirmed that the final decision is expected to be announced this afternoon.
Westech Director, Brian Wesson is hopeful that a deal will be signed.
