Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama is expected to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York next week.
Commodore Bainimarama said he has received the invitation and is ready to represent Fiji.
Commodore Bainimarama said he will not be bothered if the Australian and NZ Prime Ministers oppose his presence at the General Assembly.
The Interim PM hopes that the international community understands his vision to take Fiji forward.
Commodore Bainimarama has confirmed that he has a few meetings already lined up with representatives from Cuba and Venezuela and more meetings are being arranged.
