The chairman of the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum said Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama should sit back and assess the Forum's decision and engage with them to have elections.
Niue Premier Toke Talagi said Bainimarama needs to take the necessary steps as outlined by the Forum to set the election date by May 1st and have elections by December this year.
Talagi was also questioned by Radio Australia whether Australia, NZ and Samoa shoved the decision against Fiji down the throats of the Pacific leaders in the PNG Forum.
He denies this.
