Interim PM in Dubai For Tourism Summit
The summit is poised to attract chief executives, chairpersons and the presidents of the world's foremost travel and tourism companies with heads of governments, senior government officials and media to discuss issues affecting the tourism industry and the world at large.
Commodore Bainimarama will meet with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Ports World, Emirates Airlines and selected financial and selected institutions. After the summit, Commodore Bainimarama will stop in Singapore and have meetings and discussions with government officials there to learn more about public Service and public sector reforms.
He is being accompanied by Interim Attorney General Aiyaaz Saiyad Khaiyum, Tourism minister Tom Rickets, and FTIB Chief Executive Lailun Khan. They will be joined by PSC Chairman Rishi Ram in Singapore. The PM returns on Friday 2nd May and during his absence, Interim Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be Acting Prime Minister.
