The Interim Prime Minister has hit out at Viti National Union of Taukei Workers General Secretary, Taniela Tabu for saying that Mahendra Chaudhry is running the interim government.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said it is now clear that the unions planning to go on strike are now bringing up racial and political issues.
He remains firm that he is head of the interim government and the decision made by cabinet not to give into the FICTU unions demands was a collective one.
Tabu is now saying that they will not have any negotiations with the interim administration until Interim Finance Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry is removed.
Tabu claims that Chaudhry is deciding whether the pay cut restoration should be granted.
