Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama is expected to meet the Fiji Nursing Association executives this afternoon as the nurses strike continues.

Interim Public Service Minister, Poseci Bune confirms that a letter has been sent to FNA General Secretary, Kuini Lutua and the meeting is expected to take place within the next few hours.

Bune refused to reveal whether the interim government will present further proposals to the Nursing Association.

Bune is currently on his way to Nadi and will not be in the meeting with the Nursing Association executives.
