Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama confirms that Fiji Nursing Association General Secretary, Kuini Lutua is still demanding for the immediate restoration of the 5 percent pay cut.
Commodore Bainimarama reveals that he had a conversation with Lutua earlier this afternoon and he is hoping that the FNA changes its stand.
The Interim PM also reveals that he had offered a deal to the FNA members to return to work by 2pm yesterday, continue negotiations and the striking nurses may not have their pay docked.
Earlier today the Fiji Nursing Association said it is now willing to negotiate with the Interim Prime Minister about their demand for the full restoration of the 5 percent paycut.
Kuini Lutua said she wants to speak to Commodore Frank Bainimarama about the issue.
