"I am committed to the proposed People's Charter and I am not worried about people like Mick Beddoes to derail the work of the interim government."
Those are the words of Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama following the Ousted Opposition Leader's statement that the Charter's plan and the roadmap to democracy was prepared by two former Fiji citizens based in NZ, John Samy and Francis Narayan.
Bainimarama said the People's Charter is the brainchild of the interim administration and no one else's.
He also questions Beddoes whether he is making all these statements after meeting some overseas diplomats in Nadi over the past weeks.
Bainimarama stresses that work of the People's Charter will continue and we will have a Charter before the next elections despite the attempts by some to discredit the interim administration's roadmap.
