Interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has been briefed on the major provincial development projects the Northern division will undergo.

Bainimarama arrived in Vanua Levu yesterday and said that his main intention will be to look at how to stimulate the economy of the Northern division through the Look North policy.

He said the interim government will focus on raising the level of investment and economic production, generating increased employment opportunities, income and consumption growth, increasing the volume and value of trade.

Yesterday he was briefed by the Commissioner Northern, Inia Seruiratu on the provincial development projects which are being pursued.
