The interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama is expected to meet New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters and his Australian counterpart Stephen Smith today.

This has been confirmed to Fijivillage by interim Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau who said that the Ministerial Contact Group will be in the country to meet with the interim Prime Minister today.

The group also consists of the Prime Minister of Samoa Sailele Tuila'epa, Prime Minister of Tonga Feleti Sevele and Communications and Tourism Minister of Tuvalu Taukelina Finikaso.

Nailatikau said a meeting between Bainimarama and the visiting officials has already been scheduled.
