Interim Prime Minister. Commodore Frank Bainimarama will be attending the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum meeting in Port Moresby in the end of this month.
In his New Year message, Commodore Bainimarama said that while we have had some differences with neighbours New Zealand and Australia it will not stop him from attending the Forum leaders meeting.
Bainimarama also highlighted the interim governments focus for 2009 especially what they would like to achieve for the economy.
Commodore Bainimarama added that the interim government has already started work on the implementation of the Peoples Charter after it was endorsed by the President.
He also thanked the chiefs who turned up for the Bose ni Turaga as they have shown their wisdom and acumen that they are known for.
