The Interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama today visited the Natadola Hotel and Golf course site under construction.
Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's office Parmesh Chand said that Bainimarama wanted to see the site and was happy with what he saw in terms of the progress of the project. Chand said the Interim PM was impressed with the developments so far.
Chairman of the Natadola Bay Resort Limited, Felix Anthony said they expect to open the 220 room hotel and Golf Course by February next year despite facing some problems.
Anthony said the previous developers had set aside $343m for the whole project however he says they plan to reduce this to $230m to complete the project.
