It has been confirmed that the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama and other government officials will leave today for New York after the cabinet meeting to attend the 63rd United Nations General Assembly.
He will be accompanied by the Head of the Technical Support Secretariat John Samy, Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office Parmesh Chand as well as other government officials.
Commodore Bainimarama earlier said he would promote the draft People's Charter at the UN meet as the way forward for Fiji.
