Interim PM Justifies Overseas Trip
Speaking from Singapore, Commodore Bainimarama said the trips have also been taken to widen Fiji's tourist destination opportunities, hold talks on expanding international air routes among many other potentially positive achievements for Fiji.
Commodore Bainimarama has also told critics to focus on constructively finding avenues in which they can help move the nation forward.
He made the comments in response to criticisms by Ousted Opposition Leader, Mick Beddoes, National Federation Party General Secretary, Pramod Rae, among others, against interim government ministers taking overseas trips.
Commodore Bainimarama adds that with a few members in cabinet, it has become noticeable for the media to pick up ministers going on working trips overseas while it wasn't the case with the SDL led government.
Bainimarama is currently in Singapore to look at the country's successful public service management model. He returns to the country on Friday.
