Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama has today hit out at the executives of the Methodist Church and Fiji Women’s Rights Movement for criticizing the Health Ministry for calling for volunteers to assist at the hospitals during the nurses strike.
Commodore Bainimarama said while the perfect scenario would be that the nurses return to work, everyone should play their part instead of coming up with other agendas.
Commodore Bainimarama also said that executives of the Methodist Church seem to have forgotten the calling during this time of crisis.
The Ministry of Health is requesting retired nurses, NGO's, Religious and Women’s groups to lend a hand in this time of crisis.
