These are the words of Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama who has hit out at the Premier of Niue and Pacific Islands Forum Chairman, Toke Talagi on his public statements on Fiji, its people and the Government.
Bainimarama said since Talagi's appointment as Pacific Island Forum Chairman, he has neither communicated directly with him in any substantive manner on the Fiji situation nor visited Fiji to determine the ground realities.
Bainimarama said Talagi's continued statements on March 2009 elections, the Interim Government and Fiji demonstrate a lack of understanding and appreciation of the situation in Fiji.
