The Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has high hopes for the Digicel Fiji 7s team in this weekend's Dubai 7s tournament.

Bainimarama who is away in Qatar wished Waisale Serevi and his team well on behalf of the Government and the people of Fiji.

He wants the Fiji 7s team to win the Dubai 7s and set the foundation as they carry hopes of our nation.

Bainimarama also congratulated the team after IRB said that Fiji was the most disciplined team in the IRB World 7s Series so far, adding he wants Fiji 7s players and officials to be good ambassadors of our country on and off the field.

Fiji is top seeded in Pool D with England, USA and Portugal. They play their opening match tonight at 7:42pm against USA.

The Dubai 7s tournament officially starts at 5:30pm with the opening match between New Zealand and Wales.
