The Interim Prime Minister said he will ensure that the investigations carried out by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is done in the proper manner without any interference.

Commodore Frank Bainimarama said people should understand that he started the clean up campaign for a reason and everyone caught in alleged corrupt practices will be brought to justice.

He also said that he will ensure that investigations are carried out in relation to some prominent people evading taxes and FIRCA has to cooperate with FICAC.

Meanwhile, Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry is expected to direct the FIRCA board on Monday to ask the Chief Executive Tevita Banuve to resign for not cooperating with FICAC in relation to certain investigations.
