The interim government will make a decision on certain proposals put forward by the Confederation of Public Sector Unions today to try and avert the looming nationwide strike.
Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry after meeting with the union representatives late yesterday said they will now look into the proposals and respond to the unions today.
Details on the proposals put forward by the Confederation have not been revealed.
Meanwhile, Confederation Chairman Rajeshwar Singh after the meeting with Chaudhry refused to comment.
