The interim administration has called on the New Zealand government to reconsider the way it is imposing travel sanctions following FIFA's decision to postpone the Fiji/NZ soccer match tomorrow after our top goalkeeper's visa was rejected by NZ.

Permanent Secretary at the PM's Office, Parmesh Chand said NZ's actions are affecting people's daily lives and no one knows when this will end.

Chand said Fiji goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau had nothing to do with the military and the interim government, and questions why NZ rejected his visa based on the fact that his father-in-law to be is a member of the RFMF.
