The Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum has again defended the legality of the operations taken by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Sayed-Khaiyum was reacting to the comments made by former Vice President, Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi at the Fiji Law Society convention that FICAC is unconstitutional and should be disbanded on the understanding that it's proper establishment would be the priority of an elected government.
The Interim AG said the Lautoka High Court has already that the FICAC cases can be tried in court.
