Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has raised serious concern over the continuous statements being made by the Pacific Centre for Public Integrity, Angie Heffernan questioning the independence of the judiciary.

Sayed-Khaiyum said there has never been any interference in the appointment of the judges, no directive has ever been given for certain cases to be allocated to certain judges and no rulings have been made just to favour the interim administration.
