As the Commonwealth Secretary General Don McKinnon gets ready to have discussions with Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama to assist him in getting Fiji back to democracy, he said the interim administration's intentions should be genuine for the people of the country.
McKinnon who has confirmed that he will have discussions on the telephone with Bainimarama from next week, said it is now time to assist Fiji to reach its goals.
McKinnon also said that NZ, Australia and Fiji need to sort out their own differences and ensure that there is common understanding on the best way forward.
