An intense program has been set up to prepare the National Under 20 soccer team for the upcoming World cup qualifiers in Auckland.

The team will play National soccer league matches starting from this weekend where the Under 20 team is expected to play two to three matches per week.

Team officials have bulk of district reps in the team with the likes of Akuila Mataisuva, Ilisoni Logaivou, Abu Zahid, Poasa Bainivalu and Noa Seru who will lead the team this year.

The World cup qualifiers will start on April 18th in Auckland and Fiji is expected to get stiff competition from New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the Under 20 team will take on Nadroga this Sunday 3pm at Lawaqa park in the National soccer league match.
